Is Wale tired of the MMG sound? According to Wale, he has already recorded 40 songs for the new album, leaning more towards the sounds of 100 Miles & Running & Attention Deficit, his earlier pieces of work prior to signing to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group label:
“I just wanna show range. I’ve proven a lot to my peers and to myself and to my fans, so I just want to take it back to something a little bit more exciting, when the music was most exciting to me.”
