Lil Boosie’s first degree murder trial will begin this upcoming Monday May 30th and unfortunately for Boosie, a Louisiana judge ruled yesterday that Boosie’s rap lyrics, more specifically lyrics found on his track “187”, can be used as evidence against the rapper during the trial period. In the rap song, Lil Boosie boasts about “187,” “murk” and “cake”, all lyrics/terms that the prosecution plans on using against the rapper claiming that the lyrics denotes murder and money. The entire song cannot be played nor can the verse from Boosie, since B.G. is also featured on the song, can be read line for line as the defense argued that the prosecution are not experts in slang terms or rap music.
Lil Boosie, born Torrence Hatch, is accused of hiring hitman Michael Louding and paying him $2,800 to murder Terry Boyd in 2009. Good luck Boosie.
