  • Jay-Z Holds Carnival For College Scholarships

    Last night, Jay-Z held a carnival under his Shawn Carter Foundation to raise money for kids’ college scholarships. The event was dubbed Making the Ordinary Extraordinary. MTV was on hand and got the following message from Mr. S. Carter:

    “Just providing opportunity and seeing what people do with that opportunity. If you want to go further and you want to further your education, just giving someone that extra little push [so] that maybe you’ll turn out to be someone special,”
